Yeah, the Il-62 sure does sound great. Loud, but that's how i |
|
like them. Or, well, from the outside atleast. Inside i prefer |
|
to be able to speak to those i am travelling with. |
|
As for Air Koryo, that is one thing that's on my bucket list. |
|
Ever since i first got interested in aviation i've had an urge |
|
to go on one of those av-geek trips to the DPRK for two reasons. |
|
One being my interest in Soviet aircraft, and the other being |
|
the braging rights for having been to North Korea. ;) |
|
Also, how dare that guy call the Il-18 a "b*tch"? How dare he?! |

I too wish to visit the DPRK for this reason ;) Maybe one day.. |

You should watch this guys videos on his trip, it's the first |

decent idea I have had of what the country is actually like. It |

was certainly interesting to watch. |

The only downsides to wanting to visit North Korea, in my case, |
|
is that those who know about it think i'm either stupid, a |
|
communist, or both. Now, i don't really care what people think |
|
of me, as long as they keep it to themself. |

Looks Amazing! DPRK is on the top of my "to visit" countries! |
|
I was so jealous to see all those lucky peoples boarding the |

flight to Pyongyang in PEK! And... Believe it or not but if I |
|
would ever have the chance to go there, it will be with Air |
|
China! |

I don't think Air China flies to Pyongyang actually. As far as i |
|
remember, only Air Koryo are allowed to fly there. |

I don't know if I would go with Air Koryo or Air China. |
|
Air Koryo = Experience, and prepares you for the strange |
|
conditions before you even leave Chinese soil. ??? |
|
Air China = Probably safer |

Personally i would probably pick Air Koryo just to get the most |

out of the experience. |
