I replaced my SPOT with a DeLorme InReach SE a few weeks ago. I |
|
was always worried if and when I finally needed my SPOT for an |
|
emergency, would the signal actually get out? How would you |
|
know? |
|
The InReach allows for 2-way text and email communication - if |
|
you declare an emergency, you get a text within so many minutes |
|
asking what the problem is and what help you need! |
|
The cost is a little more than the SPOT on a monthly basis, but |
|
I sure feel better knowing I can communicate versus just waiting |
|
for help not knowing if anyone was coming. Can also email |
|
friends and family from anywhere if I want to. |
|

Hi during my trip from france to Kaz and Russia I used a Inreach |

..now in my company I have couple of guys that like t travel and |
|
do treckking around the world in isolated location ..; and they |
|
use mine w..;all are very happy .It is a very good produc and |
|
higher that Spot |
