Howdy from the great state of Texas. Sixty eight years old. Been |
|
riding and racing since I was 16. Quit the X/C racing about two |
|
years ago and started doing more dual sport. Love riding in |
|
Mexico and any place else I can find. |
|
I love making stuff for my 690R. Just made a batch of case |
|
protectors. Half anodized black and the rest orange. Anyone |
|
interested give me a shout. |

Sounds good outlaw, I think the orange is great. I have to wait |

till next months (I'm in the midts of buying a home) so I'll be |

Hey there Outlaw if you are waiting around for another idea of |
|
what to make for the 690 how about a preload adjuster tool that |
|
can actually get in there to adjust. Can you make the sprocket |
|
cover actually cover the sprocket(as in I don't need to see it) |
|
and also protect the engine case? |

remember where I got it. I'll check and see if I can figure out |
|
where I bought it and let you know. |

As for the case saver. Yeah I can do that. Next time I make some |
|
I'll do that for you if you really want one. |

That's an Enduro Engineering version on my ex-520 EXC. I was |
|
about 100 yards from the pumps at Big Bend Lodge. I talked to |
|
Allen Randt at EE about one for the 690, but no luck. They |
|
might be a marketing opportunity for you. |
