Got my new stands in the other day. Went with Pitbull Racing cuz |
|
they're made in the US of A! 8) |

They're real sturdy. I grabbed on to the seat and was shoving it |
|
hard and it wasn't coming loose. The front is a little tricky to |
|
get lined up correctly. Only downside to the front is the axle |
|
can't be pulled while the stand is on. No biggie, I'll just put |
|
my little square stand underneath the bash plate and I'll be |
|
able to take off the front wheel. $300 of quality equipment. |

Can you not use the typical lift style stand that goes under the |
|
engine (middle of bike)? Or is that not possible since there is |
|
no 'frame' there, just engine? |

I was using one before I got these stands, but if you're really |
|
wrenching on the bike it feels unstable. Also, since I've got |
|
17's on now, I can't fit either of my two basic stands w/o first |
|
lifting the rear end up a bit with a jack. Screw that :P |
