Extreme parking lot traffic, Asheville edition
Bunny heard about The Vintage Market Days [1] in Asheville, so we headed out
today. I will say, getting in wasn't an issue—getting out was:
[a picture of a crowded parking lot] “Is there another way out?” “I don't
know, parking lot designers are sadistic bastards.” [2]
That isn't a line of parked cars. No, that's a line of cars attempting to
leave the parking lot! It took us about twenty minutes to get out, and it
only took us that long because we took advantage of a van that took too long
deciding where to go and we cut ahead (to be fair, a number of other cars
also cut ahead—we weren't the only ones to do this). I attempted to locate
another exit, but the cell phone coverage was a bit spotty and I couldn't get
a decent satellite picture of the parking lot in Google maps. Sigh.
