Der Ring des Star Wars

It's long, but it's an interesting new theory about Star Wars [2]. Sure,
we've all heard about George Lucas borrowing heavily from _The Hero With A
Thousand Faces_ [3], but a ring composition [4]? That's certainly a new take
on things.
But if the Star Wars films comprise a ring composition, it's only
coincidental, as _The Secret History of Star Wars_ [5] made clear: George
Lucas was making it up as he went along [6].
