                                Lisa's Father

In order to properly appreciate Alice Donut's [1] video Lisa's Father [2]
(link via Mike Sterling's Progressive Ruin [3]) you need to know that the
video is based upon a Jack Chick tract [4] called Lisa [5] (pg. 7–12 [6], pg.
13–18 [7], pg. 19–24 [8]). Fair warning though, the tract (and thus the music
video) is about child molestation (“and yes, you too, can stop molesting kids
through the power of Christ!”) and like all of his tracts, he doesn't let
real world facts get in the way of proselytizing.

It's about as surreal as the real life reenactments of the comic strip “Mary
Worth.” [9] I wonder if there are other Jack Chick tract reenactments out
there?
