It took the computer industry over a decade and millions of dollars to
realize that copy protection just doesn't work. There are too many bored,
intelligent and (more importantly) broke high school and college age kids who
view copy protection as a game, an intellectual diversion, and will work
hours, nay, days to crack a sceme.
It's just sad that the entertainment industry has to learn the same expensive
lession over a similar time period.
