                       Confectioner or fasion designer?

I have my doubts this this remake [1] (via Ceej's black book [2]) of Willy
Wonka and the Chocolate Factory [3]. Johnny Depp [4] is no Gene Wilder [5]
and if anything, is … freakier than Wilder's portrayal of the reclusive
confectioner; more androgenous—more wacked out fasion designer if you will.
The movie also has this wierd Clockwork Orange [6] vibe to it, not in the
“ol' ultra-violent in-out in-out” manner, but set-wise, the future as seen
through a 60s sensibility (guess that means Charlie will hanging out with his
droogs at the milk chocolate bar).

And now I'm earwormed with the music from the preview! Aaaaaaaaaaah! Make it
stop!
