# Aaron Swartz is Rolling in his Grave

Reddit recently had announced that Google will be the only search engine allowed to index it after a nice juicy deal.

How horrible. I feel the deceased cofounder of Reddit, Aaron Swartz, must be rolling in his grave. :-(

Aaron Swartz died for his principles: that information should be free. To know Reddit is actively making information harder to obtain is absolutely shameful.

Reddit should be ashamed for putting money over the principles it was founded on. Anyways, I'm seriously considering getting a Lemmy account. I probably will use SDF's Lemmy services. Not that I had a Reddit account I actively used.
