The usual caveats apply -- this walkthrough represents a successful path
through the game, but probably not the most fun one. In fact, I've
included the solution an optional puzzle (the letter) because even
though it isn't necessary to completing the game, it's there to be seen,
after all. Also, there's plenty to do and examine, or at least that's
