About the Infocom version patches


A few notes about the version patches in this directory.

- All of the patches have been encrypted with version 2.1 of Paul
Gilbert's patch program.

- All patches contain the game name, version number needed to decrypt,
and in the case of pre-checksum games (ie early versions of Zork I and
Deadline) the actual file size and resulting checksum.

- All patches for hacked games are now part of their corresponding zip file.

- Each zip file also contains text with information about the variations
of that game and my email address to notify me if you have a release that
hasn't been included.

Upon finding new versions, or the ones which I still haven't been able to
locate, I would be more than happy to update the zip file containing the new
patch and upload them to GMD immediately so everyone can have a copy!
