          Essential NetBSD 4.0_RC3/i386 Binary Packages + Install CD

                                  What is it?

  The 3rd party software team of the NetBSD Project is proud to be able to
  provide a CD with the installation files for NetBSD 4.0_RC3/i386 and a
  collection of essential precompiled binary packages NetBSD 4.0_RC3/i386.
  The packages on this CD are based on the pkgsrc-2007Q3 branch.

  The CD is bootable and contains all the install files for
  the NetBSD 4.0_RC3/i386. To install binary packages from the CD,
  mount it under (say) /cdrom, then run:

    # PKG_PATH=/cdrom/packages/i386/All
    # export PKG_PATH
    # pkg_add -v bash
    # pkg_add -v kde*
    # pkg_add -v openoffice
