Description:    This is the Desktop Edition of the Athene Operating System.
               It brings the complete Athene Desktop to your Linux
               or Windows platform without needing to install the full OS
               version.  The Athene desktop uses its own VESA based hardware
               drivers so that you can use it as an alternative to X11.
               The Athene desktop is backwards compatible with X11 programs,
               so you can continue to run your existing software from
               Athene.  Athene's user interface is completely rewriteable
               and is famous for its ability to emulate other interfaces
               such as the Microsoft Windows and Amiga desktop environments.
