This is an adaption of John Hobby's \MP, version 0.641, to Unix,
and GNU~Pascal, version 2.1.
The features added include treating the command line as the first
input line and invoking a system editor, in this case \.{vi}, to
let the user correct the input file.
On exit, \namegpc\ passes its `history' to the operating system.
