README for the Kochbuch Standalone Paket

First of all the most important things

The Kochbuch Standalone Paket is a special version of the cookbook within
the TeX-Service of the computer center of the University of Giessen, Germany,
which can be used without a WWW server. To use this package on your private
computer (DOS/Unix etc.), you only need a WWW client (Mosaic or NetScape e.g.)
to view the pages. The pages do not contain links to pages outside the package.

To install the package you need to get one version of the Kochbuch Standalone
Paket and unpack it on your private computer.

Example: FTP transfer:

        ftp> bin
        ftp> get Kochbuch-Standalone-Paket.pkz cookbook.pkz

        unpack
        pkunzip -d cookbook.pkz

        ATTENTION: For pkunzip the option -d is important!

        start your favorite WWW client and `Open Local' the file
        cookbook.htm, that's all!

Note: The text in the package is written in German. If somebody likes to
translate the text and the examples to English contact me via email.
