EXPORT INFORMATION: This sofware contains encryption features
and requires export approval from the U.S. Department of State,
prior to exporting from the United States.
This patch is for a product which performs cryptographic
functions, which are subject to U.S. export control, and must
not be exported outside the U.S. without prior approval of the
U.S. government. Prior export approval must be obtained by the
user of this product.
By obtaining this software, you are agreeing to comply with all
of the United States and other applicable country laws and
regulations when either exporting, re-exporting or importing
this software or any underlying information or technology.
Further, you acknowledge that you are not a national of Cuba,
Iran, Iraq, Libya, North Korea, Sudan or Syria or a party that
is listed in the U.S. Table of Denial Orders or U.S. Treasury
Department's list of Specially Designated Nationals.
Product is restricted from being used for the design or
development of nuclear, chemical, biological, weapons or
missile technology without the prior permission of the U.S.

(1) Copy the sunwskip.exe file on to machine running Windows 95,
Windows 98 or Windows NT.
(2) Execute the self-extracting .exe file (sunwskip.exe)

Installation And Configuration Notes:
PATCH VERSION INFORMATION
This patch updates/replaces SunScreen SKIP 3.0 for Windows 95,
and Windows NT. Once patch is installed, the product will be
functionally equivalent to the 3.0.7 release.
NEW OPERATING SYSTEM SUPPORT
Once this patch is installed correctly, the product will support
Windows 95, Windows NT with Service Packs 3, 4 or 5, and
Windows 98 (first and second editions).
RE-INSTALLING SKIP
If you are installing this patch on a PC which has a previous
version of PC SKIP installed on it; you may encounter the
following error message:
"component versions don't match"
This error occurs because InstallShield cannot remove running
DLLs. If you receive this error message, use these steps to
fix the problem:
1. Click on the Start->Find->Files or Folders option.
2. Use the Find:All Files tool to search for any files
with skip or sunw as part of the filename (for example
skip* and sunw*).
3. Remove any of these files. Typically, these files
reside in the windows system directory on Windows 95/98
systems and are Windows system drivers on NT systems.
4. Reboot your PC.
The patch should now install correctly.
ADMIN PRIVILEGES REQUIRED FOR INSTALLATION ON WINDOWS NT
You must have Admin privileges to install and run SunScreen
SKIP on a Windows NT system to allow the program to write to
the registry.
BE AWARE THAT SOME DOCUMENTATION AND SCREENS MAY BE OUTDATED
Since the changes for this release are almost entirely functional, some
of the product documents and screens have not been updated. Therefore,
many of the popups, informational screens and documentation references
within the product will be outdated once the patch is installed.
