This directory contains version 3.1a of POV-Ray for Windows. You
require Windows 95/98 or Windows NT 3.5x/4.0 to run POV-Ray for
Windows.

povwin3.exe is a self-installing executable. Just run it from
Windows. There is no need to to put it into a temporary directory.

In the 3.1a-1/ directory is the same installation as found in the
above povwin3.exe file, but split into parts. MAKE SURE you read
the README file there before downloading !

For those who want the source code, it's in povwin_s.zip. Note that
the source code is ENTIRELY UNSUPPORTED. Source code is not needed
if you just want to run POV-Ray on an Intel Win32 system.
