For Pan 0.90 or newer (the versions released in 2006):

  * If you have an old copy of Pan 0.14.x installed already,
    uninstall it and GTK 2.2.

  * On Windows 2000 or newer, install gtk+-2.8.x-setup.zip
    before running Pan.

  * On Windows 98/ME, install gtk+-2.6.10-20060823-setup.zip
    before running Pan.

For Pan 0.14.x or older:

  * Be aware that these versions of Pan are over three years
    old and are no longer supported.

  * Install GTK-Runtime-Environment-2.2.4.1.exe before
    running the Pan installer.
