I'll put a .zip file with all the original Microsoft Word files on my
ftp server, probably next Friday.

There are binaries for NeTraMet and NeMaC for SunOS, Solaris, Irix
and Linux. So far no-one has ported NeMac to WIndows (or, better,
written a windows-based manager for NeTraMet).

Yes it should be possible. You should be able to use mib/mib.txt to
access the meter SNMP variables. mib.txt is a stripped-down version
of the MIB with all the comments deleted. The full version is also
in the mib/ directory, with the full MIBs (SNMP and SNMPv2). It
might be best to start by doing an SNMP walk through the mib while
running its default rule file (rule set 1).

I've put a file called ntm-word.zip on my ftp server -
ftp://ftp.auckland.ac.nz/pub/iawg/NeTraMet
This has the Microsoft Word 2 files for the NeTraMet documents.

Hi all
I try using NeTraMet on MS DOS platform.
NeTraMet is based on CMU SNMP Library.I have problem with
test program for Netramet SNMPTEST. This program send
SNMP request to Netramet. If I using MIB.TXT of Netramet,
program SNMPTEST don't work. Problem is in function
init_mib() of CMU SNMP.
I using new version Netramet and BORLAND C++ 3.1.
Please help me with my problem.
Have any some documentation of CMU SNMP ? (Where I find it ?)
Thank all
Please send answer to my email.

1) The documentation for CMU SNMP is included in the NeTraMet
distribution file, along with all the source code. It's in the
doc/snmp/ directory of NeTraMet.tar.gz.
2) The distribution file includes a DOS .exe file for the meter -
pc/netramet.exe - you should be able to run this on any PC with
at least an AT processor. A 25 MHz 386 (or better) is recommended.
3) The manager, NeMaC, and the snmp test routines, e.g. snmptest,
were developed on a Unix platform, and have **not** been ported to
DOS. If you need to run NeMaC on an Intel box, I'd recommend using
linux on it.
Hope this helps, Nevil
