DBD::Ingres is now available from the CPAN archives in

    CPAN/authors/id/HTOUG/DBD-Ingres-0.02.tar.gz

This is the first version of an Ingres inteferace to perl5. [version 0.01
was an internal-only version].

It has been in use here for 3 weeks without serious problems. An Ingperl.pm
module is supplied so "old" ingperl scripts can run with little or no
modification.

It has only been compiled on Digital Alphas (both Digital Unix and OpenVMS)
with Ingres 6.4, so assistance in porting to other platforms is welcome.
OpenIngres 1.2 support is planned for the start of 1997 (we will upgrade
very soon :)
