Hi,
Version 1.0 of Perl-PVM is now available.
This is a perl extension for PVM using dynamic loading.
The differences with 0.9 are relatively minor:
1) The module name has changed to Parallel::Pvm
at the suggestion of the Perl porters.
2) Minor bug fixes, esp. for Parallel::Pvm::spawn
which would previously fail to return the
correct tids on some occassions.
3) Some folks may have expereinced problems
when compiling for Solaris. This is now
hopefully fixed.
4) A little bit tidier.
You may obtain a copy from my web page
http://www.nsrc.nus.sg/STAFF/edward/Pvm.html
or from CPAN.
If you have problems obtaining a copy, get in touch with
me.
Enjoy! And may the force be with you.
