This directory contains executables for Windows NT/2000/XP (IA32/x86, IA64/
Itanium, AMD x86-64/EM64T, Alpha AXP, PowerPC, and MIPS R4000) and Windows
95/98/ME (Intel IA32/x86 only).  Windows CE and Windows 3.x executables are
in their own directories (../WINCE and ../WIN16, respectively).

Note that, as of Zip 2.31, encryption is enabled by default; separate zcr*.zip
archives are no longer necessary.  (The two zip21xN archives are renamed
zcr21xN archives.)

Thanks to Gilles Vollant (info:winimage.com) for providing the latest Alpha,
IA64, and x86-64/EM64T binaries for Zip, UnZip, and gzip.  (NOTE:  The
"Apr 11 2005" and "May  9 2005" UnZip binaries are a slight update to the
originals.)  Thanks to Mary Geddry for providing the MIPS binaries.  Thanks
to Randall Ding (randyd:lse.fullfeed.com) for providing the Alpha binary for
WiZ.

The self-extracting files are in zipfile format.  You can use UnZip 5.x or
PKUNZIP 2.04g to extract them directly without running them, as in:

   unzip unz552xN.exe

All Info-ZIP packages contain documentation.  Sources are in ../src .  The
DLL sources are included as a standard part of the Zip 2.32, UnZip 5.52 and
WiZ 5.03 source distributions; the WiZ 5.03 GUI sources are available only
in ../src/wiz503.zip.  (Note that WiZ performs both Zip and UnZip functions.)
