Minutes of the Token Ring Remote Monitoring Working Group (TRMON)

Token Ring

The Group met for two sessions on Thursday.  The major Working Group
activity was a group by group discussion of the working draft for the
Token Ring RMON. The end result was numerous changes for the author.
The goal is to incorporate those changes by December 15th.  To be
followed by a call for consensus as to requesting that Token Ring RMON
become a Proposed Standard with RFC status.

There were a couple of cantankerous issues, in particular the order
table, for which consensus was reached.  It was also stressed that
further discussion should take place on the mailing list.
