On August 11, 1999,  the Secretariat was informed that Lucent
Technologies may own intellectual property disclosed in the draft PPP
over Simple Data Link (SDL) using SONET/SDH with ATM-like framing
[draft-ietf-pppext-sdl-nn.txt]

Lucent has made a statement for any and all patents or other IPR that
may pertain to IETF documents. See
