Cisco has a patent pending that relates to the informational  RFC for
"RSVP Receiver Proxy", currently titled: draft-ietf-rsvp-proxy-00.txt.

If any patents issue to Cisco or its subsidiaries with claims that are
necessary for implementing this RFC, any party will be able to obtain
the right to implement, use and distribute the technology or works when
implementing, using or distributing technology based upon the specific
specification(s) under openly specified, reasonable, non-discriminatory
terms.
