DESCRIPTION:

The SIEVE Email Filtering community has to date held informal meetings
and discussion via its mailing list to develop SIEVE and associated
extensions. Now the community wishes to move the base specification to
Draft status, as well as complete work on outstanding extensions, and
has requested working group status to carry out that work. Whilst waiting
for working group status to be determined, we are holding a BOF to start
work on the list of tasks outlined in the proposed working group charter.

The purpose of this BOF is to begin discussions on bringing the SIEVE
base specification and associated extensions to draft status. In addition,
existing SIEVE internet-drafts will be discussed with a view to moving
those to proposed status. The list of items to be discussed is outlined
in the BOF agenda.
