EXTENDED FREQUENCY MOD FOR ALINCO DR119T   2 METER TRANSCEIVER

**Remove the two screws from on the top cover and loosen the four side screws
 (don't have to remove) and remove cover

**Cut the single wire (blue) standing up from behind the tuning knob
 (large knob on left front of rig)

**Cover the ends of the wire with tape or heat shrink tubing

**Replace cover

    When done do a master reset of the rig as per manual- hold
F and VFO/M buttons while turning the radio ON.
    To change bands press function (F) followed by MHZ button

    After the mod I now had:

    130 MHZ - 173 MHZ        Receive and transmit    (130-169.995MHZ )
    335 MHZ - 409 MHZ        Receive                 (340-380MHZ band)
    810 MHZ - 989.995  MHZ   Receive                 (870-890MHZ band)
