This file is not a patch, but a complete replacement of the GTK Reference,
updated from file docs/gtk.texi in the GTK 1.2.2 distribution.

It is a major update of the document from the GTK 1.0 to GTK 1.2 level, and
with more complete documentation of all widgets.  It is not a finished
product, but I wish to get it into the CVS tree for 1.3 to provide a
baseline for more changes.  The reason that it is not a diff patch is that
it is much larger than the original, and the patch was larger than both
put together.

Work remaining to be done includes:
 Finish filling out all sections for all widgets and concepts.  There are
   a number of notes inside the document of holes to be filled.
 Add Themes.
 Include more example code fragments from running programs.
 Update to 1.2.2.
 Update to 1.3.
