XCreateIC sometimes fails when we use a particular XIM server,
namely xwnmo. I think gtk+ is _not_ responsible for this
problem, but we had better take care of it because this problem
isn't actualized with most XIM clients except for gtk+ apps ;-(

This patch is for gtk+-1.2.0.
