It took a while but at last here is my first release with our
new engine. I wanted to release this demo ages ago but I'm a
little bit weak on the planning side. My first planned release
date was Demozone 2006 if I recall correct, by then the first
part was almost finished and I tried to hurry the last part.
It was of no use. The same with every other party I visited
where I tried to rush this one. I contemplated releasing it
in unfinished form, even thought of breaking it into two pieces
and releasing them separate thereby effectively destroying
the whole concept.
Thanks to Spaceboy and Femke (both live in The Hague just like
me) for starting this all. Langweiligkeit Records!
The first time I heard that song I instantly realised :
I'm doomed. This is demo material.
So I started making some sketches and after a while I figured
that I needed to utterly destroy this atmosphere that these two
individuals have put together so nicely. So I asked around.
My search ended up with 'Gargantuan', a track made by
Sicktronick. It kind of means 'big' when translated and I think
that this is a pretty good description.
So big up for Sicktronick!
A small note about the female model used in this demo.
She lives in the same block as I do and when the second part
took form I asked her if she was willing to grant me permission
to use some photos of here portfolio. Since she is somewhat my
neighbour I got the feeling that I was prepared to make a stand
against all the folks on pouet who undoubtedly flame me into
oblivion for what they see as either a brute copyright violation,
a quick&dirty way to add graphics or both. Let me assure you that
none of these is the case. Use google if you don't believe me,
chances are you'll even find the originals of the ones I've used.
