Volga, Volga by Pineapple.
A really rushed picture done in 24h. Based on a early 80's disco-song about the river Volga and how it leads two lovers to safety. Ivan (left) runs from the men of tzar towards Caspian sea - there he can have Katjushka (right) and freedom (not illustrated) . I don't know the horse's name, but (s)he is told to be exhausted in the song. Looks like (s)he's really mad at someone. Then again, who isn't.
If you can speak finnish, try finding the song called Volga, Volga - performed by Frederik. For those of you who can't, the song is dubbed version of Dschingis Khan's song Moskau. For those of you who don't give a flying fuck, play something heroic. You can also play with
your testicles if you happen to have a pair - it's likely to be more pleasureable than either of these songs or this picture.

5 - Almost final layout - added the hood, hair, eyes and other detail to the woman.
6 - Final image without the noise and tint-filtering and layer effects.
