I just got home from the party held this weekend on the south-island of
Budapest. Well, first i got the info about this party about 1 month ago,
but i was very sceptic when i looked at the name of the party: E X E
Hmmm. But since it was held in the same town where i live, i didn't want to
miss a lame party either.
Well, to be honest, the last hungarian party (LiQiD) was the lamest one where
i've ever been, so this one could have been better only (how optimist i am)
I arrived to the place on saturday afternoon. It was a culture centre
(or something like that) The entrance price was surprisingly cheap:
150 Ft (1 and half DM) for 1 day and 300 FT for all 3 days
(I bought the first one of course - altough i stayed there for 2 days ;))
Hmmm. I didn't expected many Amiga freaks (-> EXE ) presented there, but for
150 FT i always like being kicked from PC parties. In spite of this, i met
more Amiga friends there, then i expected (apx. 12-15 ppl) and there were even
two Amigas there.

Events:
- nonstop 3D and demo showing
- 3D video room (the last 10 mins of Freddy 6 was really stunning in 3D
glasses)
- buying/selling hardwares
- average buffet prices (1 DM = bottle of beer)
- tombola
- lot of other things i don't remember

Hmmm. i stayed at the partyplace for about 6 hours and then in the evening
with some friends of mine (50% of the Amiga freaks), we went downtown to a local disco (thx to Loy/Cj for the
free entrance) Ahhh. it was the best event this weekend. At 1 o'clock (at
night) there was a live strip-tease show there and then a lesbo girl
masturbated and played with a fake-dick? on the stage (i smelled her pussy
from 1 and a half metre) At 2 o'clock - unfortunately - we went back to the
partyplace. The compo just have finished when we got back (or at least it
seemed to, because everybody left the compo-room)

So sum up: in spite of the fact it was a fucking PC party with many assholes
I enjoyed it much more then the fucking LiQiD two weeks ago.

Results:
----------

At least the prizes they promised, were given.. (the prizes were something
like Soundblasters for musicians, base-boards for demo/intro etc.)
But there was NO Amiga compo :( - altough there would have been one demo,
one intro and a 4K, but the organizers
didn't allow them to 'compete'
(it would have been easy to vote for
the first places at least)
