| group to release 100 things. And these "ascii-factories" PLEASE stop |
| it! You all know who you are. If people are curious of how you are |
| then give them a phonenumber or a bbs where they can reach you and |
| ask questions, get logos etc. instead of releasing a collection at |
| the size over 100kb every week and tell you for instance that your |
| girlfriend left you, you quit smoking and got more time for ascii, |
| or something else that 98% of us probably don't care of. |

During the time 9th of April 1993 - 1st of August 1996 I've released 18
collections. What can I say? It's been fucking fun to do something and at
the same time get mail at boards saying "keep it up!" etc. That must mean
that You appreciate what I do or? I really do hope that, and that You still
will think like that - sure gives me the motivation to continue making it
even if I sometimes think that it sucks etc. But one thing that really
suck is the concept "elite board" .. Nowadays the concept is dead! Except
for some BRAVE dudes trying to bring the concept back, ie. not allowing
that crappy Aminet stuff online! You guys are really brave! Remember the
first board in Sweden that did this, Flashback back in late 1994 - early
1995 - Twister was first, and many followed him. Suddenly there popped up
millions and millions of boards with names like "Fantasy Tower" &
"Byte Planet" for instance. Both these boards were runned by 14 year old
kids that probably had parents that got fed up with the bills and told
them to do something else than call and call.. "Yes!! I open a bbs!!!"
was the first thing they got in mind.. Blah! Hate it! Well, I don't
complain about the fact that many new boards are kewl, but where has the
good old names went!?! Names like "Pirates Haven", "Ice Station Zebra"
and the former Euro-top board "Crashpoint". These boards still got their
reputation among the older sceners, the cream of us!
Here is some sceneinformation from me:
1988 began drawing gfx in DPaint. Started some groups with my
friends, names like Deception, Hurricanes etc. were in mind. I had the
handle Sacrilege at that time. In 1990 I joined, at that time one of the
best demogroups in Europe, Addonic. I made some gfx for some demos. In 1992
I left them coz of lack time, but when I discovered that I got that time
I joined a group called Industry - damn that time was kewl! Went to the
very kewl TCC-party in Gothenburg and we released a CHIPMUSIC-DISK!
One of the nicest things with that party was that I actually saw one of my
heroes Rwo/Kefrens and I also talked to him :)
As alot of groups do, Industry died in late 1993. I left the scene for a
while. Got back when a friend of mine bought a modem and we found out that
we didn't have to wait for the lazy swappers to send the productions by
mail - we got them directly from the groups BBS's instead! Suddenly I
started "trading" around on some BBS's. While trading it was kinda
booring to watch the NComm screen, so I loaded Cygnus Ed and made some logos
that my friend Godhead learned me how to do :) . I released my first colly
and the other ones came quickly after that.
In 1994 I got an offer to join 2000 AD - man! A major group - I joined and
one week after I joined, some guys from a new group called Artcore got in
touch with a friend of mine, and told him that they would like to have me
as their 5th member in Artcore. I joined, and released the 2nd AC! release
some days after. Continued like this until 1995, when this friend of mine,
Stain/Classic told me that he was tired of the scene, and he would sell
his Amiga 4000 and his BBS, Final Impact. I was fast, bought the Amiga
and put FI online after just two weeks. Got busted for using a PBX. Closed
the BBS for a while put it back online again with more HD and new modem.
After a while, I was out of money - the bills growed over my head
so I decided to close down from december -> february to get money
for all my needs. I got back, joined the so called Dreamchart and oopps
I was the 2nd fastest board in Sweden -> the 6th fastest board in the World
Cheesus! After that I got unemployed and here I am, sitting like a fool
in front of the computer.

After I had read your so called reply of the text I wrote for you
in mine and Mark Ryders' co-op collection BACK IN TIME - ARMY OF DARKNESS
I started to laugh! What else is there to do??!! First you say that you
respect me and all that shit and then suddenly you tell me to fuck off!
You really see to be afraid of a reply from me, or you feel like "Yes,
finally I dared to write it! He won't reply on this" piece of shit and
you tell me to answer in silence! Oh my god, that's not what
I'm gonna do, your knowledge of the scene is nothing! For people that has
it hard to believe this I will actually show some lines from our chat we had
remember; where you told me the difference between you and me and this
"oldschool vs. newschool" piece of shit. First you behave like a little kid
(still does but..) and open that big mouth of yours and start scream out
things you don't even have a clue of what yer talking about. And after that,
some people start to react of what you're telling, and BOOOM! You suddenly
tell everyone that you're sorry for your previous attitude and all that
ass-kissing stuff, so you think that people will start "respect" you for
what yer doing and stuff like that. The only one you get respects from is
the people of yer own ranks, the freshments that hasn't seen the old
filelists, those that hasn't seen masters like Godhead, 911, Rotox etc, but
only seen the new stuff. And if one start behaving like he was God
himself or the saviour of the scene, you get desciples that follow you,
and tell exactly the same things that you do. Isn't it true? A perfect
myth to compare with your experience is the one about Jesus - and in that
case there are still people think he was/is a FAKE!
- "OLDSCHOOL" VS "NEWSCHOOL";
This "OLDSCHOOL" and "NEWSCHOOL" is something that you've wrecked around
in your head for a long time isn't it? Many sleepless nights thinking what
you're going to write in your next collections? I remember one thing you
wrote "I am now oldskool" . "OLDSCHOOL" isn't something you can claim to
be. Got it?! When I first began in the scene, I was 100% in for graphics
and I wasn't good - I was lousy! All I made was fucking crap, and I'm proud
to tell you this - people that was LOUSY at something started making music
or started to paint - I myself started to paint. Nowadays people thats
lousy start making ASCII and claim to be champagne supernovas whatever
without actually know anything. And that's fucking true!
- KiLLiNG THE SCENE;
You and many other new guys, like you prefer to call "newschool"
is KILLING of the ascii-scene - and that's a FACT! I've been around for almost
4 years and released about 18 collections. With simple mathematics I've
figured out that its one collection every 2.5 month (isn't it!?). Most new
"artists" release one collection every 2nd week. Why are you and the others
doing it?! Are you afraid that the scene will forget about you?! Quality
before quantity! It's a big difference between the elitescene and asciiscene.
The elitescene is a place there they try to release as MANY productions
they can do and well, the ascii-scene has gotten like that crappy AMINETSCENE
that's alive today!
- EXPLAiNATiON;
One other thing is the way you try to explain yourself, but to get to
the point directly - why the fuck do you try to use english words you
don't even have a slight clue of what they mean?! Don't know the school
situation in Poland or whatever you come from, but if it's really that
bad, then I hope something/someone will help your country to get a new
system so you will learn something. But on the other hand, I know polish
people thats VERY good in speaking/writing in english and they're even
younger than you. In other words, you must be lousy in school - why not
try to get better grades in school and drop this "ascii-making" you're
doing (iff2ascii etc.). Just a small hint! No, this is a total waste
of time writing more stuff. I mean, you probably wont understand what
I write at all anyway.. Perhaps you may think this is some sort of birthday
card just coz we're borned on the same fucking day (man, I knew something
was wrong with October 2:nd, but atleast I'm alot older than you).

oke, ... let's say that I used to roll onmy rollerskates since about 3 or 4
years .... I've 18 years and I like this sport ... really ... but in last year
there was a mood (?) or mode or whatever and the parents bought their kids
also rollerskates... and I am feeling like oldscholer when seeing kids doing
the same job as I do ... and this reallyk fuck me (wrong word, but i dont
know other) 'coz thery are new in this biz & want to get my level of riding...
there's the smae on ascii scene I think...

Well, Paschamarackas.. You better get out a bit more and practice, so you will
be able to do "the same job" as us. Most of the scene feels the same in this
matter, so please withdraw from the scene, sell your computer, start learning
english or get a job in some factory!
