Short description:

A 16-bit flic animation player component for Borland Delphi 1.

Longer description:

The Dragon Flic Player is a component for Borland Delphi which interfaces
with the AAPLAY.DLL flic playing DLL provided by Autodesk in the public
domain.

The component has been used in a number of commercial multimedia
applications, but portions of it remain relatively untested at present.
In particular, support for animation scripts has been included for
completeness, but has not been used in earnest. All test reports welcome!

Place flicreg.pas, flicplyr.dcu, flicabou.dfm and flicabou.dcu into a suitable
directory and install the component as per usual, noting the following points:

1. By default, the component installs to Samples. Edit flicreg.pas to change.
2. Take care with the Delphi limit of 127 characters for the library path.
3. Backup complib.dcl first, and close any open project.

Place flicdemo.zip in its own directory and unzip it to produce flictest.dpr
and its associated files. The demo is fairly self-explanatory, if a little
rough around the edges. The notify check-boxes can be used to trigger wav
files at a given frame - play/pause or step to the required frame, click
a check-box and select a wav file.

The component is supplied in the following versions:

1. Unregistered shareware          requires Delphi IDE to be running
2. Registered version              no AAPLAY.DLL splash-screen
3. Full source code                including "IDE running" check

Prices are detailed in flicplyr.doc.
