This directory contains "delegate" packages which may be used to
extend the function of GraphicsMagick and are provided for the
convenience of GraphicsMagick users who compile GraphicsMagick from
source code.  These may or may not be the latest versions of these
packages, but they are versions which should work well with
GraphicsMagick.

   release due to how long it has been in use (released 1998 and no
   additional release until 2009).  The versions with a number at the
   end of the version identifier (e.g. 'v6b2') are support releases
   which provide fixes for issues found in the original release.
   Versions 7 and later are able to write files that previous
   versions (and other JPEG readers) can not read.  Each library
   major version starting with 7 introduces new formats that previous
   versions of libjpeg (and most of the software in the world) can
   not read.  GraphicsMagick does not write such formats by default.
