This directory contains beta distributions of GraphicsMagick. Beta
distributions are release-level packages which are distributed to a large
user base in order to obtain any comments or bug reports prior to the
final release. The packages are considered to be stable and reliable
software, and it is highly unlikely that any interfaces will change in
the final release.
These beta distributions are currently based on the HEAD branch in
GraphicsMagick CVS.
As summary of the files as follows
X.X is the release version target (e.g. 1.2)
betaN is the beta release level (e.g. beta1)
Base source archive (bz2, gz, lzma, and zip formats)
Linux Red Hat Package Manager (RPM) Source Package
GraphicsMagick-X.XbetaN-1.src.rpm
Windows source archive (zip format). Includes integrated source
for all 3rd-party libraries ("delegates"). Archive is built from
a "live" CVS checkout so it can be used as a faster way to get
started with CVS.
GraphicsMagick-X.XbetaN-windows-source.zip
Windows Dynamic-Multithread (DLL-based) install package with utilities,
PerlMagick, the ImageMagickObject COM object, DLLs, and web pages.
GraphicsMagick-X.XbetaN-Q8-windows-dll.exe
Windows Static-Multithread package including the utilities
(gm.exe, gmdisplay.exe, and MagickCMD.exe), the ImageMagickObject COM
object, and the GraphicsMagick web pages.
