This directory contains simple benchmarks which allow users to explore
the performance difference between ImageMagick and GraphicsMagick on
their own systems.

Use a command like

 zcat magick-bench.tar.gz | tar -xvf -

to extract the content of the benchmark into a 'magick-bench'
subdirectory.  The README.txt file provides instructions for how to
use the benchmark scripts.
