This release fixes issues with Unicode encoding and removes a couple of
deprecation warnings by Vala. Therefore, the minimum required version changed
for pygobject (3.0.4), Vala (0.15) and GLib (2.31.0).
- Revert "Use ugettext to make sure we always get an utf8 encoded string"
- Replaced StaticRecMutex with RecMutex
- Removed usage of deprecated Thread.create function
- Removed custom bindings of signal.h
