I have made the latest version (1.4) of menu.pl available via anonymous FTP
from "ftp.iastate.edu".  Once connected, "cd pub/perl" and get the file
"menu.pl.v1.4.shar" (a self-extracting shell archive).  I didn't write
"Forms 1.0" - somebody else will have to tell you where to get that.

By the way, for those who are currently at version 1.3, there is probably
not much point in getting 1.4 - it only involves a minor change (adding
"r=refresh" on the bottom menu line when it fits).

The "menu.pl" package requires "curseperl" - an extended version of "perl"
(with built-in "curses" calls).  The pieces needed to assemble "curseperl"
are distributed with "perl" in the "usub" source directory.  So, yes, you
can use menu.pl without compiling anything - provided you or someone else
has put together "curseperl".
