Net::LibNIDS version 0.1

This module embeds the libnids C library written by Rafal Wojtczuk <[email protected]?.
libnids is designed to do all lowlevel network code required by a network intrusion detection
system (whichis what NIDS stands for). This module uses libnids to allow you to read
the reassembled tcp stream without any duplicates or incorrect order. That is, like a normal
host would have seen the stream.

INSTALLATION

To install this module type the following:

  perl Makefile.PL
  make
  make test
  make install

DEPENDENCIES

This module requires these other modules and libraries:

 libnids, libpcap, libnet, libgthread-2.0

On Debian/Ubuntu, the following packages satisfy library dependencies:

 libnids-dev
 libpcap-dev
 libnet1-dev
 libglib2.0-dev (for gthread-2.0)
