This is the README file for Encode::compat, a module providing
compatibility interfaces for Encode.pm on Perl versions earlier
than 5.7.1.

* Installation

Encode::compat uses the standard perl module install process:

cpansign -v             # optional; see SIGNATURE for details
perl Makefile.PL
make                    # or 'nmake' on Win32
make test
make install
