Apache-Hadoop-WebHDFS
This module provides a perl interface to Hadoop's WebHDFS API, allowing one to
both read and write files to HDFS with perl. Apache-Hadoop-WebHDFS supports
both unsecure and secure grids by using GSSAPI.
REQUIREMENTS
Carp is used for various warnings and errors.
WWW::Mechanize is needed as this is a subclass.
LWP::Debug is required for debugging GSSAPI connections
LWP::Authen::Negotiate is the magic sauce for working with secure hadoop clusters
parent included with Perl 5.10.1 and newer
File::Map is used for mmap'ing files instead of slurping
INSTALLATION
To install this module, run the following commands:
perl Build.PL
./Build
./Build test
./Build install
If you need to turn this module into a rpm package, please look at 'cpanspec' to build a spec
file which can be fed to rpmbuild.
