Currently on holiday. This year has been a wild, wild ride. Issues at home,
issues at work, and issues in church at the same time. Home issue with the sick
relative is now looking a lot better, the work stuff has been smoothed out for
as far is possible, and the church issues are now someone else's problem. That
is good for now, as I was getting to the end of my rope energy-wise.
We rented a house in the north of France, and we are using our free time to
get back some spring in our step. It's funny how much time you need to de-stress.
It takes weeks to really get the stress out of your system. Your body and mind
react so weird to not being under stress anymore. It definitely takes more time
than expected.
But okay, we are now living the good life in la douce France for a few weeks
and this is great. We rented a house in the middle of nowhere, and it's been
great. Nobody calls you, nobody needs you, nobody wants anything from you. And
your temporary french neighbours do not even care that you rented the house
next to them.
I expect and hope to come home (and back to work) relieved and re-energized in
a couple of days. Bye for now!
