Hi, Phigan.
P> Seems like my credit cards have lower percent cashback "deals" than they
P> did before, outside of the regular cashback categories. Other than that,
Rewards cards in the UK have always been crap. My wife and I signed up for a
Chase debit card because (aside from paying you and the new customer I think
20 quid each for referrals) they gave 1% cashback on virtually any spending up
to 15 quid a month. The wife and I usually hit that every month, mine from
work travel and hers from groceries and fuel.
Now they have changed it to only give the 1% on "everyday shopping", i.e.
groceries and fuel, so we struggle to get much out of that. Luckily trains
count and I use those a fair bit for work.
