I'm in central Indiana, Zone 6. Last year was odd, every time it would rain the
plants would look sick as opposed to all past years vegetation "sprung" to
life. So I am going to add a considerable amount of compost to my soil this
year. We have to turn it every year here as the clay is rather hard otherwise
and carrots come end up looking more like softballs. Still taste good but .. I
mean .. they don't look like carrots. lol!
