An old gag from the early days of the VoIP WX Net, back in 2004, I think, when
sometimes people would get busy, so I would put *SLAP* in our text chats as an
attention grabber, and the idea kind of became a greeting among a few of us.
The "sprints away" bit came a couple of years ago, after I took up track and
field (I'm a sprinter, so the chances of getting away with it in real life are
quite high ;) ). :)
... I'm an optimist... I'm positive things are going to go wrong. ;)
