I took the audio egineering course through the recording workshop in
Chilicothe Ohio. This was back in the early 80's and they had just got a Sony
PCM machine. At the time I went I was running sound for a local band and
wanted to go work in a recording studio. Of course i found out if I wanted to
be paid I would have to move to New York, Nashville or LA and even then it
was a long shot. I ended up working for several local bands till about 1990
and have been a electrician for the past 25 years. I did enjoy my time at the
Recording Workshop graduating in the top 2 of my class ad be offered a
teaching job there which I had to turn down.
