The term "disappointed" was not one of my favorites my father would use.  After
I knocked up a girlfriend of mine at 16, he used that word.  It royally screwed
me up and I stopped to think more frequently before acting.

Today, my oldest son has heard me use the word "disappointed" once.  The rest
of my children have never heard it.  After being disappointed in my oldest, he
turned around and started making better choices.

Interesting--consequences.  Wow.
