If the "license" to access my personal info translates to
dollars into my PayPal account (or something like that), that
might be fine.  So.. if I get paid for every cookie and tracking
info that that is gleened from my usage on the net, then I might
like that.

Perhaps it's the same concept of SQRL.  You register with a
site, but your creditials are never in-the-clear, and the server
can never use those credentials until your system confirms
things.
